"To love and "BE" loved is a joy I have never known. I felt that love was the heartbeat of the universe...both pain and pleasure". (Lyrics from La Travaviata opera)

Love is the ultimate commitment. It imposes obligations; it risks pain.

Love is a complicated thing, not a condition in the body. Love is interdependence and mutual trust and caring. When all passion is spent, love remains. Love's uncertain glory is worth whatever it's cost.

Love is wanting to be WITH someone. You should feel you belong WITH not to!

To love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existence....The greatest pleasure of life is LOVE.

The feelings of love quicken the flow of energy to it's ultimate.

You have to have meaningful experiences in life before you can truly love.

To fear love is to fear life and those who fear life are already three parts dead.

You must first reveal yourself and be real if you are to ever receive true love.

To expose your feelings is to risk exposing your true self.

Love is sharing and sharing is communication.

The secret of staying in love is to love, to keep sharing, to keep living out one's commitment.

Love is joy-pleasure-peace of mind.

We are never so helplessly unhappy as when we lose love. (Freud)

We sometimes love not whom we ought to love, but whom we NEED to love.

Love is respect and admiration.

Where there is love, there is hope.

Love means giving yourself totally to ONE- and going emotionally, physically and spiritually where you go with no one else. That's what makes love special, an uniqueness and intimacy that no one else is a part of....

Love is: Passion, intimacy and commitment

A total immersion in life offers the best classroom for learning to love.

Love is always open arms. If you close your arms about love you will find that you are left holding only yourself.

One does not fall in or out of love. One grows in love.

Each man lives love in his limited fashion and does not seem to relate the resultant confusion and loneliness to his lack of knowledge about love.

To cheat one's self of love is the most terrible deception; it is an eternal loss for which there is no reparation, either in time or in eternity.

Love offers it's self as a continual feast to be nourished upon.

Love has meaning only as it is experienced in the NOW.

Love and the self are one and the discovery of either is the realization of both.

When man has love he is no longer at the mercy of forces greater than himself, for he himself, becomes the powerful force.

If one wishes to be a lover he or she must start by saying, "Yes" to love.

Man has no choice, but to love. For when he does not, he finds his alternatives lie in loneliness, destruction and despair.

"Love is a many splendid thing...it's nature's way of giving a reason to be living!"

As soon as the love relationship does not lead me to me, as soon as I, in a love relationship, do not lead the other person to himself, this love, even if it seems to be the most secure and ecstatic attachment I have ever experienced is not true love.

How can we send the highest love to others if we do not have it for ourselves?

Love is great, but we don't always love the one who is great for us.

Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt, but it's the only way to live completely.

REMEMBER that the best relationship is one where your love for each other is greater than your NEED for each other.

Great love and great achievements involve great risk.

If we treat relationships as if we are the only person in it.....eventually we will be!

The most lonely place in the world is the human heart when love is absent.

Bodies are not what love is about....SOULS are!

Love must have no strings and conditions attached to it. It must be an unconditional subtle message which ignites into a flame to feed oneself and the other of choice.

It is a one-on-one level for love to be effective and to create a balance.

A different love comes into play on other levels.

To make love is to reach from the center of one’s soul. It could be playful, or cravingly intense and wild, extremely deep, passionate and intimate, even erotic and sensual or shy and wait for some signal from one’s lover, depending on the reaction of one’s soul at that given time. No spark, no reaction.

Love is about the reaction people have on each one another at any time, any place and the action it creates within each being.
