Originally regarded as one of the basic four elements,
FIRE can also be thought of as an ardor,
strong feeling or excitement.
An ODYSSEY is any extended wandering or journey.
The title of this book, SOUL FIRE ODYSSEY,
I think,
pretty well describes the human existence: an excited soul on a journey.
To me, that is what SOUL FIRE ODYSSEY is all about.
From the day we are born until the day we die,
we are all on a certain wandering . . .
a path or trail of life's discovery,
laden with many treasures to find,
but also mined with obstacles and pitfalls.
This book is written not as an authority on the subject of life,
but as a person who views life and its many aspects
as not only a challenge, but an opportunity.
The passages describe many aspects of everyday living,
some recorded through the vision of
one Native American Indian's perspective,
and some written as if completely masked by
anything other than a contemporary writer in a modern,
contemporary setting,
but heavily influenced by his external stimuli.
